Above All: Crucified (Luke 23:46, John 19:30)

"Like a rose trampled on the ground, You took the fall and thought of me above all." – Paul Baloche and Lenny LeBlanc 🌹

Dear undermined underdog,

Winnie the Pooh asked, "Have you ever had one of those days when you just can't win, Eeyore?"

"Yup, I know how that feels," Eeyore replied.

There would be times when we feel like we're stuck in a frustrating situation. Maybe we're in a time when we say there's no hope for our nation.

Our earthly problems are only temporary. Do you know that right now you can have everlasting victory?

Today is Good Friday, a day we commemorate the sacrifice Jesus did on the cross.

I wrote a poem today as I recalled what happened that day.

Here are the verses to reflect on today:

Luke 23:46

And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’” Having said this, He breathed His last.

John 19:30

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Jesus sacrificed Himself for each and every one of us. He's the King of kings and Lord of lords. He's above it all, but for us He took the fall. He died to pay for our sins so that we may be reconciled to God and enter heaven. All we need to do is believe in Him.

Believe Jesus is the Savior who died and resurrected. Believe He is Lord whom our lives in His hands are directed. He directs us to be passionately loving. He directs us to be victoriously happy. He directs us to live with Him eternally.

With love,

Celina <3
